The Tulsa-Oklahoma football rivalry [I woudn't exactly call it a rivalry, more like a scheduled TU beatdown] will resume in 2007 when the Sooners visit Skelly Stadium, sources indicated Friday afternoon.
The Golden Hurricane will complete the two-for-one contract with trips to Norman in the 2009 and 2011 seasons.
TU officials weren't available for comment Friday. An announcement is expected by the schools early next week.
Oklahoma announced Thursday that it also will play Miami (Fla.) in the 2007 season.
OU's addition will strengthen TU's nonconference schedule in upcoming seasons.
In 2007, TU has already agreed to terms for a road game at Army and a home contest against BYU. The 2009 season has games against New Mexico (road) and Texas Tech (home) and 2011 includes a road game at Vanderbilt.
Tulsa has future games set against Iowa State (2012-2013) and Kansas (2008-10). Tulsa will host New Mexico (2008) and Vanderbilt (2013) and travel to Texas Tech (2008).
The Tulsa-Oklahoma series is 21 games old, with the Hurricane capturing seven victories against 13 losses and one tie.
OU scored two touchdowns in the final four minutes to earn a 31-15 home win versus TU last September.
