Gals.

But the gal that won is the girlfriend of our guy that won.

As I mentioned in the brain cramp thread, that was probaly the most humiliating blunder in Olympic history.

And that Jacobellis chick is cute, too; reminds me in a very nice way of my HS sweetheart.

Time to change the video for "The agony of defeat".

Where's the best place to see a replay of this? It looks like ESPN is contractually obligated to pretend that the Olympics don't exist.

Well, the Olympics replay starts at 12:30am. So, I'm guessing you can see it in its entirety around 2:30 or so.

He's right. In 12 years, street racing will be an Olympic sport and we'll all be making fun of Juan Gonzalez for botching a 2-star 720 McFakey quadruple U-turn 12 feet from the finish line.

Cute chick. Dumber than a box of hair, but cute. Gimme the Hughes sisters or whatsherface the ice dancer any day (if I was single, that is, which I'm happily not, thank you).

When you *have* the gold medal won, dear, just finish the farging race. Formula One drivers know this. Snowboarders apparently do not.

is anybody surprised by this?

Of all the competitors at the olympics, what sport lends itself most to showboating?

It's the reason snowboards were invented in the first place. It's the mentality of the snowboarder. This wont be the last time it happens.

very stupid.

My favorite part was when she was lying about everything that happened in the interview afterwards.

I bet it will be the last time it happens with her.
