We're right on the line between snow and a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain. We have a few flurries and quite a bit of sleet. The roads are pretty bad already supposedly.

It's sleeting like a bastard in Norman; it sounds like a somebody is throwing gravel at my windows. My windshield iced up in freezing rain within seconds of turning onto SH 9 coming home from work earlier. It's even scarier when than happens in car than in a plane.

Is he short like you? I can see why you'd be worried about deep snow/sleet.

No, I'm pretty much the only short person in my family outside of my dad. I think something went wrong somewhere.

You're probably right. I started smoking during my prime growth years of age 8 - 13.

Looks like we've got a layer of ice then about an inch or so of sleet/snow. More to come looks like. I won't be backing out of my steep azz driveway, too many hills here to go anywhere.

Coing down pretty good in S. Norman.

Anyone been out on the highway today? Wife and daughter were flying home from Dallas last night, but had to stop in Dallas as OKC inbounds were cancelled.

Looks like they're landing them now, but getting from the airport to home will suck.

I stepped outside to feed the birds this morning and found the brake line on my 4 wheeler was frozen so I had to carry the bucket around the acreage and fill them. Looks like we got about 1.5 inches of snow on top of a layer of ice. The birds are happy though......:)

4-5" of snow with packed ice underneath. I went to the bank awhile ago and had to pull some folks op a hill that wasn't that steep. They had traffic backed up for 1/2 a mile. I just through my f150 into 4 low chained up and up the hill we went!

Yeah that packed ice can make things nasty. Just before Christmas of /'04 a guy had to pull me up a huge hill on Hwy. 7 after we got a good amount of snow. I was in a 2WD chevy silverado..he was in a Z71, his truck didn't hesitate one bit. Sounds like your truck doesn't hesitate either.
