Who made up the Sooner backfields in the 79-80 and 80-81 seasons? For that matter, where can I find rosters from that far back and farther? SoonerSports.com doesn't have them listed.

79 would have been Watts, Sims, Overstreet, and Stanley Wilson

80 would have been Watts, Overstreet, Wilson and I think they played several backs at the other spot.

I was thinking of Chet Winters but I may be wrong.

Winters may have played some in 80 but Wilson had to be ahead of him. Sewell didn't play till 82 or 83 I think. I think he was a freshman in 81.

wilson played fullback. chet winters played at halfback.
