instead of actually thinking about which car to buy, and how much you want to pay for it, challenge the salesman to a game of chess after he's shown you the lot, and forget about the cars for a while. when you are done, make a snap decision on which car to buy. you might wind up happier about it than if you just sat there weighing the pros and cons....

Is it possible to get the sales manager to tell you the price of the vehicle? It seems like all they want to do is throw monthly payment numbers at you that end up being incorrect when you head to the financing department to actually set your payment.
