48 and dropping, 22 mph winds.
High Friday is 39 (in the morning). Rain turning to ice.
Feel sorry for those of us in the metroplex. Most of these idiots have no clue how to drive on the white stuff, let alone the frozen stuff.

i don't mind the cold so much but when you go from 70 to 30 in a day and a half... it's annoying.

well... that's true. I was just thinking how yesterday afternoon it was BEAUTIFUL outside... and today it's crap. BLARGH.

I'd gladly take the east coast's blizzard in exchange for this stuff. It's a manic-depressive's dream.

Awww...da gurls are cold. :P

I'm just digging on finally having winter back. I do NOT want to think about the weeds in my lawn and the bugs rampant due to the warm weather we've had so far. Need a few more deep freezes to kill the little nasties.

i like the killing of nasties part, I just want some consistency. I don't like the temperature dropping 40 degrees with no warning.

Ah, but that's the fun part of living in Oklahoma, along a climate zone boundary. Never a dull moment. :D

yes, i'm aware. kansas (where i grew up) is the same situation, but with more wind. that doesn't mean I have to like it.

The security guard in my building told me about a time when he was in St. Louis the other day. It was -19 degrees with a wind chill of -35 to -40. The next day it was in the 70s.

So... it could be worse. :D
