They don't even list Albertson's Express, which always have one of the lowest prices in Norman.

Taco Cabana?

Taco Hell is cheaper than Taco Cabana isn't it? You get a lot more gas for your dollar, too.

does Albertson's have a program like Murphy's (wal-mart) that if you use a shopping card or their credit card you get a few cents off? Or is it just the posted price??

It's just the posted price, which is why I like it. No BS.

Here's what I don't get. My dad will drive miles and miles trying to find a gas station 3 cents cheaper than another one. So he finds one, gets gas cheaper by 3 cents per gallon, and what has he gotten? A savings of about 45 cents on a 15 gallon fill up...an amount that has probably already been wasted by all of the driving around in the first place.

The BS isn't a problem if it saves you money and you can do it with little inconvenience (for regular shoppers)

I don't drive out of my way to save a few cents a gallon, but if I'm in the area and notice it's cheaper there, I'll fill up.

I'm a stupid driver. I drive until the "empty" light has been on for about 20 miles, then scramble for the nearest gas station. It drives my wife crazy. She'll have half a tank left and panic about filling up. God put us together just to laugh at us, I often think.

My MIL used to put in $5 every day. I broke my wife of that.

Now it would be like putting in $10 every day.

she would never fill up.

pure stupidity.

I think it was a mentality passed down from her parents who lived through the depression.

My dad was born after the depression, but not by much. West Tulsa poverty from the 40s and 50s has stuck with him, I guess. You can take the man out of Oakhurst, but you can't take Oakhurst out of the man.

You are not alone in being God's comic relief. My wife and I are the same way.
