Based on total wins.

1 Oklahoma (68-11) - 0.86 - 1NC

2 Texas (65-11) 0.855 - 1 NC

3 Miami (64-10) 0.864 - 1NC

4 Boise State (63-10) 0.828

5 Georgia (60-17) 0.779

6t Louisiana State (59-18) 0.766 - 1NC

6t Southern Cal 59-17) 0.776 - 2NCs (or 11/2)

8t Ohio State (58-17) 0.773 - 1NC

8t Virginia Tech (58-19) 0.753

10 Louisville (56-19) 0.746

As if there weren't already enough incentives to win the RRS, 10/7/06 seems even more important now. Team of the Decade crown still up for grabs...

Why did you quote him to make that statement?

Decade classifications in sports start w/ the multiples-of-ten years.

So...1990-1999: Florida St.

see?

I quoted him because I was smiling at the USC one championship comment. I realize what a decade is 10 years which is why I posted that. Check a calander, we still have four years of football left to play. Kinda early to be declaring ANYONE team of the decade.

Georgia sort of stands out like a sore thumb on that list as DUE for a NC. Does anyone really hate Georgia? I never hear much about them.

Uh, yeah, cuz there's a lot of chest thumping and declarations in this thread.

It's pretty much a thread about what teams have won the most games this decade so far.
Just b/c the decade has turned to **** for you bugeaters, doesn't give you the audacity to come over here and say that we are claiming to be the best team of the entire decade, be it mistakenly or flat out lying.

1) No one said the decade was over.

2) No one declared anyone the team of the decade, and in fact it was stated specifically that it was 'still up for grabs'

3) Read, comprehend, then post - in that order. :D

Quite. I like the team going to the White House though. And Bush isn't really a conservative anyway.

Yes, Mack will coach himself out of MNC competition. He's talented that way.

On a side note, George and Mack look more like brothers than George and Jeb.

Florida State is 55-22 so they missed the list by one win.

One could argue that they've played a "slightly" more difficult schedule than Louisville.
