I'm supposed to be taking over a job for another PM in our company because he has a big one starting and this little one will be an in between job for me until my next big one starts. I'd be happy about it because it's an alright little job, but yesterday morning he told his secretary that he was going have her looking over it (before he knew I was available) and she's all excited. I like her, but I can tell she's kind of got her feelings hurt and she's got all the documents right now, so I can't really do anything. It's not really my fight, but I'd like to dig into this thing and get it going instead of talking on message boards all day.
It's a perfect little job to keep me busy, but right now it's a cluster****. I guess I need to find a way to get her out of it without hurting her feelings.
