Well, had a dream. Last night. And it went like this:
A buddy has tickets to the Super bowl, which is in New Orleans, and offers one to me. The buddy and I live in different parts of the country, so we are going to meet up at this place and go to the game from there. I fly in to the meeting point, which was a story within a story but I can't remember that part well enough to tell it. There are people everywhere going to the game that are lining up at these loooong stairs and escalators, because that's the only way to get to the stadium.
There is such a crush of people that I can't find my buddy. The crowd finally dwindles as game time approaches - no buddy. I finally give up, and start making my way out of the place I am in. I look down and there are several watches, rings, and women's necklace-type pieces of jewelry laying around, so I start gathering them up. At first I am thinking, "oooh, wonder how much this stuff is worth?" Then I realize I really need to turn the articles in, so it doesn't matter.
I find Lost and Found to turn them in, and my buddy finally shows up. I suddenly realize there have been signs, or notes, or something like that attached to me with screws, and they are being removed. I look down and have several half dollar-sized holes in me, and they are leaking fluid. A little blood, but clear for the most part.
