We've all seen the Mike Gundy effect. We've seen the Mumbler Sutton effect.
Me thinks they are gonna have some awful nice facilities to seat 2,500 fans in each sport.

I will be interested to see how long they stay with little Sutton. As much as I hate the calf ropers, they do have a pretty good thing going with their b-ball program and I think they'll move on pretty quickly. I roomed with Sean's cousin in college and he could throw back the brewskies. Just sayin'.

I think the best thing to do would be to name Dickey the head coach.

Sean didn't fall too far from the tree.
No, not that tree!

Gee, with all the money at his disposal, you would think T. Boone would pony up and buy himself a big-name coach.

I was going to say the same thing. Eddie Sutton's driving though is a good analogy for where the football and b-ball programs are headed.

How about their golf program? And don't they have a rodeo team as well?

Yes on both counts though I think their animal husbandry program is tops in the country. Much like A&M they use a 12th man.

I his little brother Pat obtained his degree (I don't think he did), he would be a good candidate to lead the Sooners. Older brother LeeRoy has headed Arizona St. for around 15 years now.

is Holder still gonna coach golf and do the AD thing? That will bring down their golf.

remember in 03-04 when they went to the Cotton Bowl , FInal 4, won the Big 12 in baseball, made a softball regional, and of course won the rasslin and women's equestrian National Titles? They were "on the verge of being a pre-emminent national power for years to come." Two years later it's back to the basement.

Don't they already get about that many to football games?

Look at the front page of the Sunday edition of the DO after Aggy upset Sand Aggy.

I'd settle for Pat or Mark Branch. :(

4 conference dual victories in 4 years just doesn't cut it for OU wrestling. I don't care how often we finish in the top 10 of the NCAA tourny. Every program in the conference better finish in the top 12 to 15 every single year with the talent pool we have in the part of the country at the sport. :(
