There's a joke about "curlies" in there somewhere.

It's just shuffleboard on ice. In reality, everyone playing should have a beer in one hand.

If you ever get a chance to play (can't imagine there are a lot of curling rinks in Texas & Oklahoma though?), give it a try. It's actually a lot of fun, and even better after a few beers.

They look like "biters" to me.

Looks like they could use a good "bite stick".

They could play my "swingy ice" anytime.

They're very experienced with "wobblers".

I wonder if all of the Canadian cruise ships have them on board, you know, to give the old folks something to play and bicker about.

My wife apologized up and down today, since she forgot to tape it this morning!

Any activity where the uniform makes you look like a McDonald's crew member is not a sport.

There is an ice rink in Dallas that offered curling lessons and had a curling club. My daughter wanted to become a sweeper. I couldn't add the time for the hour commute (each way) and the late night classes ( used to be 11 PM to midnite twice a week).

Well it *is* just a bar game. Kinda like if darts got put in the Summer games.

And, the inventor(s) was a Scotsman, so that should answer your question, laddie! :D

You sure you didn't reverse your 'probably' and 'heck yeah'? #1 and #2 are geeky hot, but #3 is flat-out hot. #4 is a solid cute.

Hey, I watched part of that match this morning. #2 is definitely a heck yeah. I will agree to upgrade #3 to "yeah" as well.

I couldn't add the time for the hour commute (each way) and the late night classes ( used to be 11 PM to midnite twice a week).I checked into the one here in Houston....the price and time was just a little too much for me at that time. Yearly fee for the club, they played on Sunday Morning during church, and then you had to pay for ice rental on the rink in the Galleria.
