View Full Version : I-35 closed near Pauls Valley

My daughter is on her way back to Norman. She called to let us know that she is stuck in Pauls Valley due to a fire.
Anyone know anything about this?

I am not okay with the idea of her taking some backroads to get to Norman, mainly because she doesn't know the area. Or the location of the fire.

Anybody? Chick just left, if I need to tell her to go a different way, I'd like to know.

Prolly just a grease fire at the Fried Pie place just off the 35 in PV.

The daughter had time to tour Pauls Valley for a change. We usually just stop at Braums or Mickey D's if we have young kids with us.
According to her, the best part of Pauls Valley is what you can see from the highway. Their Wal-Mart looks more like an old Dollar Store.

oh yeah....well....Los Dos Amigos AND Chicken Express opened there first part of January. That place is HOPPIN I tell ya. HOPPIN!

I can't believe she failed to mention the Action Figure museum or the eating places. She is going to be so sad to have missed them.

The good thing is she had time to learn the hand - mucles, nerves, veins and arteries. Quiz later this week.

I got stuck in this today on the way back, it was closer to Purcell than Pauls Valley......had traffic on both sides backed up along way

when i drove thru, the side of the road was smoldering....so damn weird

still really smokey on my way down to work this morning, one truck is still fighting some flare-ups.
