I was on Yahoo, so I think it must be something on the game side. Maybe too many people in the LNC crowded out the signal? The signal from Yahoo actually appears stable which is why I think it is on the game-end of the broadcast. Anybody getting this on TV?
5-2 OU with 16 minutes left in the half.
Neither team able to find any kind of rythm yet. Pretty sloppy actually.

when in doubt check FSN for women's games.
btw, the refs sucked hardcore. It's a good thing our team is so awesome that it can take on da refs and da bears at the same time.
now... is it too early to start thinking about a national title for the women?

I'm too lazy to read the whole post, so I don't know if this has been discussed, but I thought FSN's presentation was horrible. It seemed like we missed the beginning of each play and each free throw because they were busy showing some shot of the bench, or the crowd, or some graphic or some highlight. It got really annoying. That's bush... that's bush league, that's what that is.
But way to go ladies! Heck of a win! Nothing was sweeter than Courtney hitting those clutch free throws.

Sylvia Young just scored....again.
No, but really...that game was awesome. Great one to watch. Got me all excited about the women's chance at a final 4. Nat Champ? Maybe. I watched Tennessee and LSU go at it this week and all their starters look like the Paris twins. Hope they get knocked out.
Id really like to see us get a No.1 seed.
Ruuuuuufus
2/12/2006, 09:12 PM
The crowd was louder than any of the men's games this year save Texas.
I thought Sophia Young played an outstanding game. It is clear that Baylor just doesn't have the supporting cast this year though.
The refs called the type of game that sucks for us and our big 3 of the 4/5 position players of Courtney, Leah and Ashley all picked up a good amount of fouls. Krista Sanchez stepped up again today and was a big reason why we stayed in the game when Courtney and Leah were on the bench. Next year should be even better with Olajuwon to spell the 4/5 as well.

2/12/2006, 09:13 PM
I was there also...damn fun game to attend! CP3 is unstoppable, until the refs give her cheap fouls. Sophia Young is unstoppable, period. I thought we got the raw end of most of the calls, but somehow we still won the game. Free-throw shooting was horrible...Higgins couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from 3-pt land. Sanchez/Ashley Paris/Laura Andrews stepped it up big time when CP3 was in foul trouble. We turned the ball over wayyy too many times. With all of our mistakes/bad shooting, we still beat a damn good team. When this OU team is clicking on ALL cylinders i could definitely see them beating anyone in the country.

Well congratulations on the win. Heartbreaking loss, but one hell of a nail biting game to watch.
That Courtney Paris is really something else now. Having Niemann defect had a huge impact on our 3 pt shooting. Damn she was missed tonight. We SERIOUSLY need to work on our shooting. It seemed like we were missing baskets all night long.
And that Courtney Paris..wow!

I feel your pain. Since I live in Arkansas, friggin' FSN Southwest has to pick up the FSN South feed for the SEC games and I got Arkansas vs. Kentucky. But I ended up going to a buddy's house that has Direct TV and got to see the rest of the game.
I still haven't come down to earth just yet. Heck of a win by the Sooners. Let's just keep it up and take care of Texas on Wednesday.
