I dont know if I should admire the guy for his honesty and candor, or if I should think hes a jackass. I dont think he is a media hog. In his interview last night before the Opening Ceremonies he looked very uncomfertable talking to the media. And I guess it does take a special kind of person to throw themselves down a mountain at 50mph.

I think people who compete in the Olympics events where you clearly need a few screws loose, downhill skiing, luge, skeleton, et al. Should get a little bit of a free pass on being a jackass and different. If they weren't like that, they problems aren't competing in those events. I think it is a neccessary evil to be a jackass for those events.
