Whenever BSG jumped over all those cars in the Arnold's parking lot is when it happened.

It started getting really creepy when Mjcpr was getting molested by the bicycle shop guy.

The total irony of this concept is: Happy Days jumped the shark long before they jumped the shark.

Who in the hell started the phrase "jumped the shark" anyway?

And what EXACTLY does it mean?

Tonight, on a "very special" South Oval...

It refers to the Happy Days episode where Fonzie water ski jumped over a shark while they were in California. It is widely considered to be the episode that started the decline in the quality and ratings of the show.

Will Rogers said "Everyone is dumb about something."

If not knowing about jumping the shark is your biggest deficit then you're definitely ahead of me.

It's a wonder I don't drool.

A shark with a laser beam on it's head that could jump stuff would pretty much be the epitome of hella.cool.dom.

It refers to the Happy Days episode where Fonzie water ski jumped over a shark while they were in California. It is widely considered to be the episode that started the decline in the quality and ratings of the show. Anybody have opinions on the shark-jumping equivalent show that happened in A) Beverly Hillbillies B) Mash C) Married With Children??? I contend all three of those shows were much funnier in their earlier episodes than they were later on in their respective series.

MASH: when it became the Alan Alda show.

Beverly Hillbilies: into color.

The only problems are too much whorn love and tolerance, no vBookie, lots of back-stabbing and gossipy PM's, a few posters who think they are vigilante admins, quality posters (Bri, BSG, Thunder, Skull, etc.) either gone completely or not posting much, redundant political threads, and too many arcane cliqueish threads that seem to amuse only the same 5-10 people over and over and over.

Other than that, it's great, I wouldn't change a thing. :)
