SETTING THE STAGE: OU returns home from its last road trip of the regular season to face Arizona in a two game series this weekend…Tonight’s game is also the third of four games between the two teams this season…Oklahoma traveled to Tucson earlier in the season and split a pair of games with Arizona, losing 6-3 and winning 5-1.

OKLAHOMA NOTES: The Sooners are ranked 15th in the nation in the latest ACHA Coaches Division 1 ranking…Oklahoma is coming off of two road wins against No. 6 Lindenwood…The Sooners are 5-1-0 all-time against Arizona and 2-0-0 against Arizona at home…The Sooners have three players in double digits in goals, led by Matt Pangrac with 14, followed by Kevin Kennedy and Owen Brewer with 10 each…Brewer is the only Sooners player with a double-double in points as he has 10 goals and 10 assists so far this season…Oklahoma has three players on its roster who are from Arizona (Kyle Allan, Trevor Hallberg and Ryan Kenney) and five players who played junior hockey in Arizona (Adrian Borchgrevink, Owen Brewer, Michael Gray, Justin Hall and Jake Krumm)…Team captain Philip Ritter is out for the remainder of the regular season with a broken wrist suffered in practice earlier this week.

ARIZONA NOTES: Arizona is currently ranked 11th in the nation in the latest ACHA Coaches Division 1 ranking…Arizona’s last games were this past weekend as they beat No. 9 Arizona State twice in Scottsdale, winning 4-3 and 5-2…The IceCats scoring attack is led by freshman forward Matt Conover, who has 18 goals and 31 assists in 25 games…Conover is followed by Robbie Nowinski (23-20-43), Cole Dunlop (17-23-40) and Craig Irwin (11-16-27)…In net, the IceCats look to Luke Edwall who has a 10-7-0 record, a 3.33 goals against average and a .909 save percentage in 17 games this season…Arizona captain D. J. Pelletier is doubtful for this weekend’s games as he recently broke his wrist in a game at home against Weber State.
