In the past 4 minutes my power has flickered 3 times. It's annoying me and i want it to stop :mad:

Are you near Highway 9 and 12th Avenue SE right now? The same thing has been happening here.

Ooooh, it's happening here, too. Spooky. Maybe we all got switched to OG&E wind power without knowing it.

The wind isn't anything special by Oklahoma standards.
It's gusting, not a steady wind. That gets the power lines swaying to and fro.

I'm pretty sure GHP is over at OG&E flipping the switch up and down like my 4 year old does. :D

The only time the wind is steady around here is when it's calm. The wind blows like this all the time without causing the lights to flicker. It probably is the wind, but only because somebody needs to trim their damn bush.

Or tree, or whatever is causing the problem.

someone came in my office and asked if we noticed the light flickering about the same time as this thread

we usually keep the lights off because we get plenty of light from the windows and all our stuff is on battery backup, i didn't notice anything
