according to the Dickey bio, yer right about the SI pic with Ham, but it was after the win over UNC that sent them to the sweet 16 at which point they had won 24 straight. and then they lost to G'Town and Iverson.

I give it up to KS. He kept up the attack even while up big late. If OSU doesn't go gaga from three land (6 of last 8) in the last four minutes we win going away. Score not nearly as indicative of the beating it was.

That being said, OSU is terrible. They'll be back next year, but I never thought I'd say that OSU sucks defensively, at least in hoops.

Man, those guys had hands in their faces most of the time. I kept shaking my head as their guys hit 3 after 3 with people all around them. It wasn't like we didn't have people there, OState was just hitting them. The only times I can remember where we had guys just wide open was the last couple possessions where we ran zone D. Kelvin got us out of that REAL fast.

If I remember correctly, the Red Raiders went undefeated in SWC play that year.

Also, that team came to Norman and kicked the **** out of us. Minor got T'd up twice and ejected with about 15 minutes left in the second half.

It was wild.
