I hit my first large bucket of balls yesterday after about a 4 month layoff due to the ACL surgery. I was pleased that I could him them well even though hitting a golf ball with the temp in the upper 40's was like hitting Ice cubes off the tundra.....

I took 3 days off last week in hopes of, among other things, taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and playing some GAHFF

So I went out Tuesday in spite of the strong winds, played decent for a few holes and on the 6th hole my son's daycare called because he got sick (stomach flu). OH WELL, so much for the 3-day metro-area golf excursion.

Hairy, how was the golfing on Friday? I couldn't make it in time and glad I didn't try due to the fire at my gf's mom's house and all.

Well, I've got you all beat at sucking at golf. It was windy and cold here Saturday...but DC Sooner and I toughed it out and played 18 holes. We played a best ball scramble (two teams of 2) and my team lost to DC's team :O . Me and my teammate played some horrible golf (worst I've played in a long long time)...so we ended up hitting the beer.

Even though Tiger can get on my nerves with his tantrums, I would still like to see him play to his full potential for a complete year. Don't get me wrong, he has been unbelievable already. I just think we have not seen the best of Tiger yet. Did his streak of made cuts end last year? It seems like they did, but I'm not sure.
