More Sideline babe-goodness:

During pre-game last night, I was watching NFL Network and they had a camera guy right by Ben when he was warming up, in the background you could see Bonnie Bernstein in her little fur hat/vest thing looking longingly at him.

will the graduation crowd boo her like the football crowd booed Tom Brokaw?

Hope so! If Boren is using my money for carp like that, I'm withholding my next donation!

Though Tom didn't need to be booed, I think it was a commentary on the news personalities in general.

Katie Couric. OUr folks better boo her perky saggies all the way back to NYC. I just lost alot of respect for whoever does these bookings at OU. If it were my commencement I seriously might not attend.

I got Don Nickels for my commencement speaker. My wife got Prez. Bush 41.

Things have certainly gone downhill in OU graduationland. Sheesh. :P

I'd rather hear Don Rickles than Don Nickles. In the 1980's Ronald Reagan in a speech at Lloyd Noble urged us all to vote for Don Rickles. Maybe he'd rather have heard Don Rickles too.

What did Tom Brokaw say that got him booed?

To this day I haven't the foggiest as to why this happened.

What did Tom Brokaw say that got him booed?

He spoke right after the Dan Rather fiasco, and some f'n hillbillies thought all news anchors = bad.

His speech was one of the better ones over the past couple years.

there's a DC area DJ who does a great Brokaw. He's slightly drunk and always ragging on Dan Rather. funny stuff.

Also, why do people hate her politically?"Cause she's a braying donkey:eddie: ...a friend of Cindy Sheehan.

Also, why do people hate her politically?

Because she is a holier-than-thou perky little beyotch who jams liberal East Coast mentality down peoples throat and tries to embarrass many people she interviews with off hand comments and obtuse questions, esp. to conservative leaning people.

I have no problems with Ms. Couric and her political views/opinions. Hell, I don't even know what they are!! I just think she's a light weight; more of a "People" magazine celeb than a journalist or newsperson. I just can't
take her seriously.

I WOULD be interested in knowing how she was selected to be the guest speaker, and what hand, if any, did Boren have in her selection.

As President of the University of Oklahoma, call it a hunch, but he might have had something to do with it.

That depends on if you're sitting next to any psychology majors....
