(Stole the idea from another board, sue me)

For me:

91 at The Woods (Coweta)
95 at Battlecreek which is probably the best of the two actually.

What's yours?

Yes, I realize I suck....no need to point it out in this thread.

I once shot an 88 at a course up here. That's about as good as I'm going to shoot only getting out 4-5 times a year, and 3 of those times are charity tournaments where getting ripped is the most important thing.

Once the kids get out of the house (10 years or so), I'll probably get out more. My Dad retired a few years ago, and gets in 27 holes a day Monday to Friday. That's where I want to be. :)

Sadly, it was a 72. I think his worst hole was a 27 or something. It was the stuff of legend which we still make fun of to this day.

He usually shoots in the 90's.

My short-game takes some tinkering before I can get down in the 70s after a lay-off.

One over par for 18, no gimmes, no mulligans.
Ace on a par 3 hole
1st Armored Div Commanding Gen. witnessed the ace and gave me and my partner an "open tab" for cheeburgies, shakes, and splanana bits at the clubhouse snack bar for the day. Got wasted thereon.
I was just short of age 15.
Lost interest in the game when I discovered girls. That, plus hunting, fishing, and hour upon hour of practice on the trumpet did me in, golfwise.

The North. I think it was the North. The first tee box has trees to the left and right of the tee, but you can slice it way right onto the 18th hole of the south course and still play through.

92 at one of the easier Phoenix courses. Would've broke 90 buy I got the yips on 18 when I realized I was playing my best round ever.

Worst was 150 somethin. Then I took lessons and dropped 40 strokes after 3 weeks. Unfortunately I'm still averaging 100-105.

If the 18th hole finishes along i-44, you were on the North course

It's VERY well maintained, but you better like hitting out of deep rough if you don't drive the ball straight. They cut it about 4'' high during the summer, and the rough is thick. The layout isn't the most inventive I've seen, but does have some very cool holes (4, 6, 11, 17).

I shot a 74 at Cimmaron, Kickingbird, and Traditions. But I am more proud of my 78 at Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. I was a cart guy there for about 2 months when I was in college. I can still see every hole in my mind after playing it about 30 times during those 2 months. It was kind of funny watching all those rich guys come in ****ed as could be after losing $500 bets. I have not played since July and I'm kind of afraid to play after such a long lay off. I'll be happy to shoot under 85 now.

huh uhh, this course is actually called the links at bixby at 115th & memorial. same company that owns the owasso and ba greens courses. you may be thinking of white hawk in bixby (i think its somewhere around 151st & yale)

there used to be a run down little 9 hole at 65th & elm area in broken arrow called bakers, man that place was hideous. cant remember what hole we were on but when we were teeing off, and a group walked by and said...hey, your on the fairway. you couldnt tell the teebox's from the fairways on about 6 or 7 holes, you could barely tell where the greens were. it was only 7 bucks to play so we played there a few times after work, wasnt worth trying to keep score. the driving range wasnt bad though.

lowest round: 69 at Patty Jewett in C. Springs. a pretty decent muni.

best tournament round in high school: 71 at some muni in Muskogee. 74 at Duncan CC and some place in Lawton. tied for 19th in an AJGA junior tournament that included John Daly, Bob Estes, and some other Tour cats....in the 16-19 age group, i was 16. best round was prolly a 40-37 to make the match-play at the State Junior at Oakwood CC in Enid....as far as being clutch.

was playing at about a legit 4-5 handicap at the Trails (before they cleared out all the junk on every hole) and shot 93 at Oak Tree.....and felt like i had played pretty well--hit a lot of good shots.

favorite round: 84 at St. Andrews (Old Course). 45 on the outward nine and rallied for 39 on the back. got it up and down from about 100 yards on the Road Hole for double. missed a 15 footer on the 18th for birdie, but stuck it pretty close with the wedge....with a ton of tourists and golf bar mavens watching. that was enough. talk about pressure. that, and the first tee. boy-o!

worst story ever: sitting at a table at Rusack's bar on the 18th fairway at St. Andrews with my old man, some old guy from Ohio told us he watched a group finish earlier in the day....and one of the playing partners gave another player about a 3 footer...and the player picks up. guy at our bar table YELLS increduosly: who in the ****ing world doesn't hole out on the 18th at St. Andrews!!??!!??!!

my dad bought him a scotch.
