Yes, the W-2 is in my hands and I have Turbotax loaded up. People should do their own, then they would understand the tax code (such as one can understand it...) and they would see just how much of their own money the Gub'ment is stealing from them...

I understand that some people have complex returns that require a CPA, but the fact that many people don't attempt to do their own taxes says a lot about the complexity of the tax code and the fact that it should be simpler!

Anyhoo, he does it for free and I can't use a 1040 EZ so I just give them to him.

I tell my friends and family to invest $40 in TurboTax and leave me alone. If one cannot figure out how to prepare a return consisting solely of a W-2 and 1099 by using TurboTax, then I question one's ability to hold down a job requiring bathing. Some itemized deductions can get tricky, but TurboTax covers 90% of the issues involved in individual returns.

You can do it online and you don't have to go buy the software.
