has austin johnson ever made a 3 pointer in a game? i saw him throw up 2 airballs tonite, and at the SMU game, he barely drew front iron on a couple...he just doesnt seem to possess the arm strength to get the ball there

Its a win and they scored 70. can't complain too much.

With OU coming off of the big win over Texas and maybe peeking a little ahead to Kansas, this game went just about like I thought it would. The Sooners shot well, but played sluggish in just about every other area, especially on defense. The intensity was missing for much of the game.

It's a win, and that's the bottom line.

Bookout got his hand banged up, but I don't think it's anything too serious.

Kelvin will have them ready for the Jayhawks on Sunday. Should be a great matchup, especially if OU values the ball (Everett especially) and plays good defense. KU is 66-16 all-time against the Sooners in Lawrence, so it's going to be a battle.

That said, I believe OU shows the rest of the Big 12 it is for real.

Gotta give A&M credit. They played hard and never quit. We were the better team just couldn't defend the 3 tonight and make free throws.
