So, does that mean we'll actually finish in the top 20 in Torino? :D

Do we have a chance for the MNC?

I just wish they would put basketball in the winter games (when the entire planet plays the sport) so there would be something mildy entertaining to watch besides luge crack-ups and "agony of defeat" ski-jump crashes.

I know, the NBA would never give their stars a month off mid-season to go play, but it sure would be exciting. If everyone let their "franchise" star players go, it would all kinda even out. Besides, the NBA d00ds don't even try hard until the play-offs. I learned that watching "Airplane.";)

Yes to all of the above.

Except two.

Is it because they have created these winter X games events young American ski bum types have gotten into and mastered first? If that's the case, I really don't care to see any of it.

The only reason I watch the winter games now.

Curling?

We Cannucks should take that one...it's usually our only Gold medal of the games. (At least until our hockey teams woke out of their half-century slumber).

The only disadvantage that Canada has, is the lack of drinking before/during/after the game. That is what curling is all about....chucking rocks down the ice is secondary. :D
