Sad news - Nikolette
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is with a very heavy heart and tear-streaked face that I am posting to let you all know that Nikolette passed away today. Her heart gave out and while doctors tried for an hour to revive her, they were unsuccessful. I do not have any other details at this time.

Please note that all the funds donated will stay in her fund to cover Nikolette's transplant expenses (she had the cord blood transplant last week). Any remaining funds will be used to help other children in need of a transplant.

The family asked that I thank you again for your generosity.

Go with God, Niki

I don't know how it is to lose a child...but I do know how it is to lose people close to you. God please take care of this family in their time of need :(

Do you think it would be appropriate to have some sort of memorial at the OU/Oregon game next September? I'm not exactly sure what we could do, but maybe it could raise awareness for other children suffering from ALL.
