View Full Version : Any folks with plumbing experience?

I seemed to have poor pressure from my spray nozzel on the kitchen sink.

I took is apart to make sure it wasn't clogged. It wasn't. So I figured something else must be wrong. So, I went to Home Depot and bought a new one (sprayer). Hooked it up and the pressure is even worse.

The way I see it is that water comes up the pipes and goes first through/to where the sprayer is working. It the sprayer is not being used, then water comes out of the faucet. The pressure there is great BTW.

What am I doing that is wrong. Any ideas?

when I bend over in the jeans I'm wearing today my crack shows. That's about my experience with plumbing.

You'll have to replace the diverter or the whole faucet, depending on the brand.

Thanks, I have no idea what that means. Where is the diverter? I'll try and find it but I am going to tackle this by wednesday.

Is it a single habdle or double handle faucet?

There should be a big nut on the back end of the spout. You'll have to take that off. Make sure you turn the water off first. The diverter should just lift out.

Turn the water off before messing with your nut. Always a good call.
