Better cross your fingers then because his coach said he's like 40 pounds overweight right now...

40 to his coach is probably 80 to Col. Schmidtty ;)

Overweight is easy to fix in the summer heat. Underweight isn't.

That is HUGE- he is what most of us were saying would be the biggest impact on our squad next year! HUGE

Come on Mccoy/Gresham! For our Top 5 recruiting class- and I am sure that Stoops is not going to let people get run off this time around.... seriously is why he stayed home recruiting a big bulk of players this year.

Good snag, but when do you guys run out of ships? Honest question here.

It's a big secret, nobody really knows.

I believe that he, Moore and Patterson can count against previous year's defections. I heard a total of 28 at one point.

Moore is already enrolled.

Sounds as murky as our situation. I think the 2 or 3 extras is for the 25 scholly limit for this year. I get that - with early enrolees, you have flexibility on this year's scholly limit. My question is more aimed at the more difficult to find out and understand overall scholly limit. Just curious if there is any consensus as to where you guys stand on overall schollys.

As I understand, we have two left. One for Gresham, a TE, and one for McCoy, a DT.

NP - that would be a phenomenal class. Was Walker planned? I thought he might be taking up a spot that dude's waited too long for. It seems to me that ships are getting tight right now and guys like McCoy, great as he is, better get off the shelf or risk losing their "choice".

McCoy and Gresham are the only ones left. They can wait as long as they want.

Who is David Robinson?

OU has George "Duke" Robinson and Lamont Robinson on the team. Is this someone else?

i think this was morgan's slot. this is a, um, "creative scholarship" year since we have 1 kid that is a national merit guy. we had 3 early enrollees (roark, carter, and halzle) but we only had 2 left from the year before. we might have applied for a waiver from the NCAA since we lost 10 the year before so who knows.

That would be nice.

It's fascinating how no matter what is posted around here some whorn always finds a way to chime in with something about Texass.
