lets limit this to two or three a person. Ive been watching OU football live for about 8 years now and my vote goes to,

1: Ou vs Neb 2000
We fall behind 14-0 and eric crouch looks invincible, then out of no where we just take over, the incredible catch by woolfolk, strait Int for a td, the fact that this put us back at no. 1, simply amazing!

2: Ou vs Alabama 2002
White goes down, hybl brings us back, we blow the lead, the two amazing plays by renaldo works in the 4th quarter that may very well be his legacy at Ou, and the bassey play to end the game, crowd was on fire!

1: OU - Alabama 2002
Could not have been any hotter! Actually fought over who would get the Drinks. Then saw one heck of a game. To class act programs trading hits

2: OU Texas 2001
Not for any real reason, other than the fact we won. It was my first time to ever go to the Cotton Bowl, so it stands out to me.

OU/Neb '83

The rain.
The comeback.
The false start with Barry drawing up the 2 pt conversion.

Tough day, but a great day.

I personally enjoyed the 77-0 whipping of A&M the most. I love blowouts when OU is on the winning end. I have witnessed alot of whippings of kansas State in the mid to late eighties but this was a beatdown of a program that thinks it has some history.

OU/Texas 2000 - I was there with my son, and just as we pulled into one of those hideous parking lots outside the fair grounds, one of my friends called - happened to be an aTm grad. Her first words were "Go Sooners". When we scored our first TD, somehow a little voice said "and the rout is on...". I figured it would be a much closer game than it turned out to be, but the little voice was absolutely right.

2005 Holiday Bowl. There with my son and wife, sitting in the OU end zone - the end where Ingram saved the game with his beautiful leaping INT. The roar from the OU fans sitting near us, and the feeling of being there for my first OU bowl game, was just incredible.

02 bama was unreal, and the ending was great.

04 oregon, due to the fact that i married into a family of ducks.

I'm thinking there has to be a way for OU to claim a NC for this year.
Since everyone was hyping the PAC 10 OU can claim to have beaten the best Pac 10 team. Even though they lost to USC earlier in the year it was clear to me that Oregon was alot better than USC at the end of the year and by OU winning they can claim another NC. At least thats the way Alabama and USC claim em.

I was in awe attending 77-0.

The collective moan the crowd let out when JW threw his first incompletion would have made people outside the stadium think that we'd lost the game.

I've been to quite a few OU games but this last season's Baylor game was really one of the best for me. 2nd best Baylor game though behind the Aggie win.

That would be my number one. After living in Texas most of my life, I really like to see aggies fail.

Number two would be the 2001 RRS. I just can't think of a better ending to a football game that I've been to.

The 1984 Bedlam game. 24-14 the good guys. The only one I have ever had the chance to watch in person. My cousin and I sat on the OSU side and ragged on them the whole game. What a year! We were going back to the Orange Bowl! The site the goalposts coming down was sure a site to see.

1. 2000 Nebraska game in Norman. I missed the 19i71 "Game of the Century" and wasn't about to miss another in my lifetime. The $100 I paid for the ticket was the best $100 I spent in my life.

2. Big XII Champ. game in Houston against Colorado. Can't remember the year.

3. 1976 Texas game. Although it ended as a tie, it was exciting to watch.

The Cuse game was exciting because it was the first time that we had won a home game in ages and it was fun to actually see us win a game in our stadium since I had sat there and watched us lose no telling how many in a row

I bought a ticket outside the stadium prior to game time for $100 and some friends of mine that went to OU got me in the student section for the '00 Nebraska game. Gameday was there inside the stadium so we watched that beforehand. The atmosphere that day was unbelievable. When Nebraska went up 14-0 so fast it was like the life had been sucked out of the stadium but it didn't take long for the roar to become deafening. I've always said that was the best $100 I've ever spent too!

The dominating 52-9 spanking of the Cowgirls was pretty special too. Pregame with Gameday being there and hyping the game was great. Then we sent them back to Stoolwater with them knowing what a big game is all about. The defense that day was unbelievable with the goal-line stand being the highlight!

2002 Texas Games, I somehow managed to get 2nd row seats on the 10 yard line, and it was my first RRS ever. We were down going into half time, but we had managed to score and converted the two point conversion to get all the momentum going into the half. Then in the second half we came back and won. it was nice, especially since everyone touted it as cedric bensons's coming out party and instead Q got 248 yards(mostly on that inside draw play)

Second greatest would be the 04 Red River Shootout, I liked the whole blow out in 03, but to actually shut out texas(especially whn you grew up in dallas with a lot of whorn friends) it was really really nice.

2000 Nebraska game for me too. I had a friend come up with tickets the night before and we drove up from Dallas and it turned out they were on the 45 about 20 rows up. Great tickets. That was just an incredible game with everything on the line and the implications that it held.

00' Kansas State is and always will be my favorite game ever. We just came off our 63-14 win over Texas and Kansas State still didn't believe we were for real. I believe that game is what truly put us over the top in 2000 and set us up for the championship run.

2000 OU-OSU

I was back home in 2000 for Thanksgiving. An extended family member (OSU booster) got really sick, and gave me his OU-OSU tickets. We were 10th row, on about the 15 yard line. Got to see Derrick Strait knock away passes to preserve the perfect record.

The 52-9 and 77-0 games in '03.

I got so much $heet from OSU fans before that game about how they were gonna beat the crap outta us. I loved sitting in the Student section in the 3rd and 4th quarters..."O...S...U...SUCKS!"

My dad came up for the 77-0 game and we ended up next to three Aggies...we spent most of the game laughing at their complete ineptitude, and so did the Aggie fans (once they had a few beers and realized just how much of a farce Franchione really was).

the 1997 OU/TX game hasn't been mentioned. This is the one where D. Parker and R. Williams ran for 200+ each. We lost, but a great game nonetheless. I think it was Chris Blocker (?) that cost DeMond something like 4,000 yards that game in holding calls downfield.

OU/NU in 2000 was something special, and probably the best I've personally seen.

77-0 against A&M. When we got 77 with like 5 minutes left in the 3rd we should shot for 100.

Agreed
"Game of the Century" Nuff said.

Other than that for me it would be the 72 KSU game. Even though the mildctas were the door mats of the Big 8 and OU won a bazillion to 0. I was able to get Joe Wylie and Greg Pruitt's autograph after the game. I thought I was as tall as the stadium.

You bet! This is the only OU loss that I left the stadium not so upset. A great year for the Big 8 with Neb #1, OU #2 and Col #3

Second would be the 2000 RRS just because I enjoyed it waaaaayy too much!

Mrs. MiccoMacey and I were up near the front of the student lines when they opened the door. One of the few times in my life I ever cut into a line. Paid off because we sat near the 45 yard line. Best game ever.

I was at that game and I don't remember any goalposts coming down, it was osu! That was normal no matter how good they happened to be that year.

The best game I saw was 85' nebraska, Jamelle runs the option at our 15 and flips the reverse to Keith Jackson, greatest play I ever saw at Owen Field. Complete domination from our defense if not for a fumble with a minute left that was returned for td nebraska would have been shut-out. Total Dominance!

Enough said, indeed. Although I felt the nausea over that game for at least a year, I now appreciate it for what it was - an epic game between easily the two best teams of that year, era, and maybe ever.

I alse remember the first game of that year, when we opened with a 35-0 whacking of SMU in the rain. I remember thinking, "that Pruitt guy looks pretty good."

the Bama game was awesome too. When Bassey picked up that fumble for the TD in the closing seconds, the stadium went absolutely insane

65-13, the feeling i had in the cotton bowl watchin all the ut fans clear out at halftime..down 34-7 i believe. pure greatness

1. 2000 OU/Nebraska it was #1 vs #2 like the old days and I knew finally after growing up in the turbulent 90's that OU was truly great again.

2. 2001 OU/Texas everyone knows the details

3. 1996 OU/Texas even though OU sucked that was my first OU/Texas game and that was one of the most exciting games I've ever been to

OU/Syracuse 1997...blocked field goal to win...my first Sooner gameWas that the one where Donovan McNabb stepped away from center and blew chunks on the field? Yeah, I was at that one.

Here is my list,
1 - 1971 (10/16) - OU-Colorado 45-17: My first OU game in person (I was 7 years old), as someone else stated that was the year it ended with NU at #1, OU at #2 and CU at #3.

2 - 1988 (11/5) - OU at OSU 31-28 - We sat in the corner bleachers right in front of where Brent "Oops" Parker dropped a (should have been) sure touchdown pass and heard Garrett "I questioned the referee's ancestry" Limbrick get the flag. It was one of those games that looked like the last team with the ball was going to win. At least the "Chokes" held true to form. I am sure they were "bumfuzzled". We had alot of fun afterwards taunting OSU fans at Joe's afterwards.

3 - 1985 (11/23) - OU-Nebraska 27-7 - for the reasons stated previously. Just a great game.
