Patrick, CA: Ivan, What WR has impressed you the msot this week?

SportsNation Ivan Maisel: (1:17 PM ET ) Travis Wilson from Oklahoma. It's tough to jusge anything right now because QBs and WRs are trying to learn each other and the playbooks. But I've seen Wilson make some great catches and I've seen him finish his pass routes which the North coaches have really been stepping on the receivers about doing.

SportsNation Ivan Maisel: (1:17 PM ET ) He's an under the radar guy because he has been hurt but he won't be under the radar for long.

I think there's a chance he's a better NFL WR then the 3 that were drafted last year.

That's some good stuff to say about the guy. Good luck to Travis.

I'll take Bradley.

Wilson is no doubt stronger than Bradley....

But Bradley has the FREAKIN JETTTTTTS in his feet man, whew.....lest we forget the bobble-and-score at oSwho last year?

Wilson will be a good 2nd WR in the NFL I think....

Bradley could easily be the featured WR on a lot of NFL teams right now. Wilson is going to have to prove that he is over the injury first....

Bradley's in a nice situation with Chicago. Even after he was injured this year they didn't really find a reliable 2nd WR. It's Muhammad and some other guys. I their loss to Carolina Bernard Berrian stepped up, but Bradley's better than him or Gage and will start next year.

I'll take Bradley.I second the motion and I also say don't forget Clayton.I f they can get through a season healthy they set a tough standard to follow.I wish Wilson all the best however,I love all my Sooners.

Clayton will be a Pro Bowler some day. If he was taller he'd make All-World.:D

Wilson has the size and strength to run anywhere on the field. He can take a hit across the middle, go deep, or take a short pass the distance with some good moves. A great overall WR that will do any team he plays for a lot of good!

Clayton will be a Pro Bowler some day. If he had the vaguest figment of the imagination of a competent quarterback throwing to him he'd make All-World.:D
Fixed.

Wilson has 4.4 speed, dont discount how fast the guy is. He just couldnt stay healthy this year, remember how great he was last year

I'll take Malcolm Kelly in 2.....

(years that is)

NickZeppelin

Kelly has a shot to be even better. Travis and Kelly have more size then the 3 drafted last year overall. That's why I say they have a better shot at being NFL guys. Although the best WR of all time is probably Jerry Rice and he was 6-0

First hand knowledge: His most recent time was 4.45.

But still, not too shabby. Once he's done with all these camps he can go out and hire a speed coach and take a little more off that time.

Usually a 4.45 is considered a 4.4;)

a decimal of .5 or up gets rounded up!

like it matters.

Collier11

not in 40 times, everyone whom ive ever heard of that runs a 4.45 they say runs a 4.4 or a high 4.4.....like you said though, not that it matters

I'll take Bradly, Jones and Clayton over Travis. Call me cynical but I think Travis decided to protect his futur last season instead of going balls to the wall for the team like Dusty, Ingram, Chester, and others did.

NickZeppelin

Ron he tried to play he just couldn't run routes from what I understand. From watching him today a bit on the Senior Bowl practice they showed he's definatly got most of his speed back but not all of it. He was the man for Jason in the red zone. And he has the size that Jones and Clayton definatly don't. He's about the same size as Bradley and I think he's a better route runner then Bradley. TW just wasn't healthy.

Steve Smith is probably the best WR in the NFL and he's like 5'8.

NickZeppelin
1/24/2006, 11:58 PM
He had the best year I'm not sure if I would put him in the top 5 in the game overall right now. Smith is a great WR though.

he had a fractured foot.... what pansy for not playing tougher....
and the qb play was well under par from what he's used to
