Carmex is addictive. the camphor in it dries out your lips and makes you crave more and more, FYI

the camphor is in there because it was originally intended to cure fever blisters :)

CNBC is strictly business news during the day, which is hardly liberal. Although they find some real winners for the point/counter point stuff they use to kill time over things like people trying to take Wal-Mart's hard earned profits to pay for their workers health care in pseudo-communist Maryland.

instead of carmex try blistex daily conditioning treatment, or better yet "my favorite lip balm" made by C.O. Bigelow--sold at bath and body works. You'll never use carmex again.

Ayn Rand? Man, everyone goes through that phase at some point, I guess. ;) Sooner or later, you realize "Wow, she's ****ing nuts." I think what did it for me was when she committed suicide after her boyfriend left her saying "Wow, she's ****ing nuts." Read Nathaniel Brandon on her. It's all kinds of fun.

Things I'm fascinated with:

1. Setting up a functioning "bank" in WoW that will operate profitably in the game environment. Call it a case study in barter economics with no legal enforcement structure.

2. Eating a better-balanced diet.

3. Snarkiness

4. Short-timer's syndrome

I'm saying it's not addictive. Even if camphor or menthol or the aspirin in Carmex were enough to irritate your lips, rub vaseline on your lips for a day and you'll have kicked the habit.

fyi..it's not aspirin :D

it's salicylic acid.

aspirin is ACETYL salicylic acid :D

the urban myth was that they put ground glass in the carmex to make it addictive, btw.
the camphor really does dry out your lips, and nothing feels as good as carmex to make it go away...

Yeah. My dermatologist recommended it for my split lip. First year in my life my lip has split. It hurt like a mother for two months until I saw someone about it.

Carmex, chapstick, neosporin, blistex....none of it worked.

So now you're trying to tell me that you shouldn't begin sentences with capital letters? You're all over the place with your arguments.

Why should we trust on whether or not lip balm is a subjective substance or not when you can't follow the most basic rules of grammar?
