I got my first ever cold sore today (actually two cold sores) 72 hours before a huge job interview. I am really peeved, and tempted to come up with some excuse to reschedule the interview.

Anyone else have any stories of triumph or despair that Blue might find interesting?

I'd say pop 'em and hit them with rubbing alcohol. May not work as well with cold sores, though. That's what I do when I get an ingrown hair right at the edge of my lips as a result of playing my trombone too much.

That's probably TMI, right?
