i just watched it again.

1) that defense was AGGRESSIVE, much more aggressive than this year's

2) hybl got a bad rap. he seemed to complete every big 3rd down

That defensive line was awesome in 2002. Dan Cody,Tommie Harris,Dusty Dvoracek and Jimmy Wilkerson.I call that talented.

Hybl was voted player of the game, and it was "widely accepted" that it was his best game as a Sooner.

He was every bit as good vs. Mizzou & Bama (although in this game the big majority of his success was concentrated in the 2nd quarter). We lose both without him. He was also every bit as good in the loss to A&M.

Hybl was a great QB. He had to fill Heupel's shoes. How do you do that? Hybl had great numbers and he was a winner.

If the OLine hadn't played matador for the 2001 season, he might have been good then as well.
