I went to HEB, (Houston grocery store chain) and bought a thick 16 oz. NY strip. and the dang propane bottle was empty.   I needed some red meat to go with my twice baked potatoes Crown and Cokes.
So the only options I had left was more propane, the oven, frying pan, or the George Foreman grill:( So I grabbed the broiler pan and put the steak in the oven on 350 degrees, and let it cook for about 30 minutes. When I returned with the propane, the steak was done. So I grabbed a plate, and proceeded to dig in.
Much to my suprise, it was cooked perfectly, Pink, warm and juicy in the middle:P and just crispy enough on the outside. It was one of the best steaks I had in a long time:D :D :D :D. I never had an oven cooked steak before, but this one was teh awesome.
