...pac-10 teams tend to put their best athletes on offense and big 12 and big ten teams tend to put their best on defense? it seems our defensive players are as good or better athletes than the offensive...

I don't know about the pac-10 but that is definately the old school WAC style approach that some of those schools still use. Must be a west coast thing.

i dont know about any team out there, but OU is all about defense. If our defense is a juggernaut, we'll win big. I just wonder what BV has in store for his defense in off-season.

Texass with anyone else at quarterback doesn't end up with the crystal football.

Side note: I once visited the facility in Ireland where they make those trophies, and if remember correctly it costs about $300K, and this was five years ago.

I don't think there's any truth to it. I think it's more of a scheme the team takes and the coaches they hire.

Just imagine the scenario...

" Well let's see son. your senior season at Bluff Cakes High- you registered
23 tackles for losses, you overpowered every guard you came up against, had 11 sacks...hmm you are 6'7 310 lbs... have you ever thought about playing wide receiver? Really? Welcome to BYU kid."
