They all had have a win against the Sooners to win a National Championship.
Amazing but OU, in a down year, still was a factor in the NC race.

the only year in the last 6 that OU hasn't had something to do with the NC game was 2002

Winner of the Texas/OU game has been in the BCS title game 4 of the past 6 years. If we hadn't choked it away in 2001, we could have made that 5 of the last 6 years (taking out "winner" of course).

Also...the Big 12 has had a team in the BCS title game 5 of the past 6 years.

Winner of the Texas/OU game has been in the BCS title game 4 of the past 6 years. If we hadn't choked it away in 2001, we could have made that 5 of the last 6 years (taking out "winner" of course).

Also...the Big 12 has had a team in the BCS title game 5 of the past 6 years.
ah but if we hadn't choked it away, we would've been there again.

It's tough to get to the NC. Fact.

Things are unpredictable in a NC game. Fact.

OU has been unlucky the last few years. Fact.

Had OU won in '03-'04 and '04-'05 years, clearly we would be THE dynasty of this decade.

The decade is only half over, and we have reason to believe that we can make a huge impact over the next 3 years (hopefully more, we'll see what recruiting does for us).

OU has been knocking on the NC door more than any other program over this decade. Fact.

We're coming for you. Fact.
