I'm thinking like a forum entitled Non-Sooner Football or something like that, where the whorns and other football infidels could talk their silly chit-chat. All whorn, domer, aggy etc. football subjects would have to go in that forum.

I think we tried the reverse of that, with 'Sooner Football ONLY', but it didn't go over very well. Maybe because the default was still a free-for-all and people just looked at that one.

It's not about being serious or lighthearted; no, it's just about who the f#ck cares to hear that garbage? Besides, libz don't think Limbaugh is serious. Quite the opposite. They call in and claim he's just a "good entertainer". He does have a great sense of humor, of course.

So in other words copy TexAgs with twice as many forums with the same point of view? ;-):D I envision ONE Non-sooner football forum, where all the non-Sooners can say whatever the heck they want, and talk to each other about how great their non-Sooner team is, and all that cr*p. That would be the ONLY place they could discuss their wonderful non-Sooner team. If they want to talk about the fabulous Sooners, then,I guess they can join in with the regular Sooner Football forum. Have we tried to do it like this in the past?

OK, seriously. I don't get what the big f***ing deal is. Yes, we're Soonerfans.com, but discussing our team with no opposing points of view or references to any team other than OU is pointless. And trying to cut out talk about Texas is REALLY freaking pointless. We start more crap about them to make fun of them than they start being serious - and right now the LAST thing this board needs is LESS opportunities for humor. Are we supposed to never reference our biggest in-conference rival for any reason at all? Even to discuss possible matchup questions before the game? Even to make fun of their players and coaches?

Really, if it offends you that much, put every single poster from any other school on ignore and don't read threads about other schools. But in my opinion, discussing OU in a vaccuum is about as much fun as a quadriplegic watching porn.
