I still owe her a little, but overall, I got off pretty easily.

The above is not a joke of a sexual nature. Any remarks made in such a manner will be handled either via neg spek, or a swift kick to the ***. Thanks for your cooperation.

Yeah, that 6% interest succs.

Somehow it doesn't seem right that I have a credit card and a car loan with lower interest rates than my student loans.

my favorite is every month she reminds you that while you borrowed $4.50 you will be paying back $45896865,0505954.00

You're in for a treat. Sallie just purchased stock in a Grave-Robbing Consortium. They'll get your money and sell your body to science. They're great.

Depending on the loans you might be better off going through the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program to consolidate. It's the fed gov but the rates are usually a couple of points better than sallies and they offer an income contingent repayment plan where after 20 years, any debt that hasn't been paid is forgiven.

i consolidated like 4 years ago...is that Ford thing still an option?

I think so. I don't think having already consolidated is a problem with Direct Loans but I'm not sure. Here's the site:

thanks for the info. No Problem. I hope it helps. If not there's always the option of moving to the Bahamas, just out the reach of Sallie. ;)
