nothing was said, he said he would decide Feb 1 between USC, LSU and OU....the only thing anyone could have gotten out of that interview is that Dean's an idiot...and we knew that already

Not much, just talked about him a little, one of the staff members tried to get him to autograph a sign that had lsu ou and ucs on it, he asked him to sign on the team he's choosing and he said not till the first.

I honestly thought when Toby brought the sharpie over and was looking for something to sign it on that McCoy was gonna pull out an OU hat and sign to let us know he had chosen OU.

Out of OU, usucks, and losers reality is that OU has the best shot at a national title while he is there this has to be the decision maker.

Not officially...but how is was talking about Tommy Harris and how he has dreamed being a sooner....I think he will be ours.
It will take a lot for USC and LSU to pull him out of state.

It's hard for anybody outside of the state to recruit in Oklahoma. Our guys just know a good school when they see one and rarely leave for other schools. Pickryl was an exception but look what happened to him.

compare the percentage of players leaving oklahoma and then look at other states like texas cali or florida. traditionally oklahoma players stay home

Try fighting your way through the pandemonium in downtown Austin after the horns moved to within just 3 national championships of tying OU. It was good to get home.
I have to confess, however, that if it was going to go to UT or USC, I'm glad it went to the horns. For the big XII, keeping the epicenter of the football universe right here in the Big XII south where it needs to stay. But also for the fact that it's fun to see (and I know I'm going to get blasted for saying this) the town get juiced up over something they haven't experienced in 35 years. It was both annoying, humorous, and perhaps a bit touching all at the same time.
Let's just say I hope (and trust) that we'll never have to endure a drought of that length. I think we've got a decent shot next year to make it to the Fiesta; but one of the following two years are going to yield a title, if not both (if we can keep these freshmen for 4 years).
