Watch the Animal Planet or Discovery channels for the end of the dog show. An Old English Sheepdog won Best of the Herding Group. Very cute dog. I have two of them, though we groom them differently (not fluffy).

I was pretty proud of the 11 y/o schipperke "Thumper" still hanging in there in the "Non-working" group, and finishing near the top in the "bred by exhibitor" competition. That dog has beat us a time or two. He's amazing.

are there like, fifty Eukanuba dog champeenship shows a year or something? It seems like there's one on every week.

The judge for best in Show was a cousin of the Tech ref. :(

Eukanuba sponsors a lot of the shows. Good business for them. I think they do the Houston show. And it is cheap programing for the Animal Planet. Heck, they even had it on two channels at once - really cheapo programing.

I tend to love the herding group. I could be happy with almost any of the hairy ones.
