I had no idea. Having only known her from Roseanne and maybe a couple of movies, you can see why.

funny story about shelly winters..........or one of her movies, when i was a kid, probably around 9 or so, my aunt take me and my 6 year old cousin to see a movie "Whats the Matter with Helen".........starring Debbie Reynolds and Shelly Winters......she drops us off at some movie theatre in OKC, as she thinks its a "G" movie since Debbie Reynolds is in it

well i can tell you it wasnt G rated, nor was it a movie appropriate for a 9 and 6 year old....that movie scared the beejeebus out of us. :)

Okay, her role in The Poseidon Adventure is one for all time. I remember the Mad take off and her swimming medal well!
