I'm sick to death of that place.

Why can't Houston have it for two years in a row?

Put me down as bored of Arrowhead. Houston/Dallas would be a lot more fun.

San Antonio would be good too, haven't played there yet.

It's not Mile High Stadium....
Denver would be a great host!
I'm not suppose to be telling everybody this but....tomorrow our forecast high will be 65 degrees!
If you say anything I'll deny it.

I know it is farther away, but I'd be interested in seeing the game in St. Louis. San Antonio would be great too, since that is only 100 miles away. The annoying thing is that UT is always the South rep when there is a Big XII game in Texas.

I thought the north had it twice and then the south had it twice?

Bleh, all I can think of is that it better not be like 5 degrees

Sooners haven't but the Big XII Championship game has in 1997 and 1999

It was there in 1996 and 1998.

Not true...The Big XII Championship game has been played in Texas 5 times now (1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2005) and UT has only been the representative 3 times (1999, 2001, and 2005) with A&M in 1997 and us in 2002

From 2001-2004 this has been the case.

This was caused because Reliant didn't want to have the Big XII Championship game and the Super Bowl there in the same year, what would have been in 2003, so they moved the Reliant game to 2002 and KC hosted in 2003 and 2004 instead of 2002 and 2004.

I thought it was moving permanently to Houston.

Wny not play it in a more central location like Oklahoma City? Oh, that would mean like a home game for OU or OSU instead of KU or KSU.

I think Denver needs a run at hosting it. And St. Louis again. KC gets old year after year after year.

Nothing wrong with KC or Arrowhead, it just gets old hat after a while.

Where exactly would they play it?

I'm sure that they would play in OKC if there was a stadium waiting. They've played a Big 12 CCG in every other NFL caliber stadium in Big 12 territory (not counting Colorado).

I'm glad it'll never be in Texas Stadium again. Also glad that it's not in San Antonio or St. Louis anymore. Rotating between Houston and KC is fine with me for now until Jerry's World gets built. Then it should probably rotate between KC and Dallas since those are more central to the Big 12.

I bet the new Arlington stadium becomes the permanent south home in '09

FWIW: I've added the sites of the CCG to my future schedules page (see link), although most are TBA. I contacted the Big 12 office and they expect to announce future sites in the spring.
