View Full Version : Pregnant Models?

I was watching a segment on Good Morning America yesterday about pregnant runway models. Apparently it is the "big" thing now. Exposing the pregnant belly is beautiful. Uhhhh - maybe not. I'm sure to the expectant mother and her significant other it is very beautiful - however, I'm not so sure they belong on the fashion runway. I guess I put it in the category of public breast feeding. Not a bad thing by any means, just a private thing imo. What do you think?

Personally I don't think 99% of runway models are attractive anyway, so what can it hurt? They go from being 80-pound androgenous waifs to 110-pound androgenous waifs that look like they swallowed a whole turkey.

Good point........and some of them never even look pregnant in the first place.

I think pregnant women are beautiful, but it would have to be a case-by-case basis, as evidenced by the above image.

Some of them just look like they need to expel some gas.

Or, like one of my wife's clients told her a month or two ago, like they "enjoy their food."

I would like to personally thank that particular client for making life around the skycat household that much more pleasant.

Hmmmm - I don't really see anything beautiful. They are just women with big stomachs carrying babies. Don't get me wrong - I don't think it is yucky or anything - just not pretty. I have never been pregnant though - I'm sure that would make a difference. As I said - to the expectant mother and signifcant other - I'm sure it is a beautiful thing.

Yeah it's beautiful. Throwing up every morning, wild mood swings, backaches and stretchmarks. Just beautiful.

I get to "enjoy" children every day - the best part is I can send them home at night!!:D
