That sucks, as much as I am not a Palmer fan, I never wanna see something like this happen. I feel for ya Carson!

In this case I think it's simply media sensationalism. The doctor commented that the tear was a 4 on a scale of 1-3, but he also said that his references to a possible "career ending injury" were simply directed to ACL/MCL tears in general. The doctor actually had to get on the Bengals web site forums and reassure everyone that the operation went completely fine.
