for Managers and now I'm afraid of anything I say. Do you know the burden and the responsibility we have for each word or response we make to anyone based on sex, race, age, national origin or disability when at our job?
It's was pretty eye opening and the trainer was one of the hottest little blondes I've seen in a while...........

Your post brings back some memories. I used to be very reluctant to even compliment a lady about her appearance for fear on how it would be received. Even if we were in the presence of other co-workers.
The best advice I can give is to behave around co-workers as you would want the supervisor of your mother, sister, wife, significant other or daughter to behave.

what a great day that was when my department had to do it... we had to watch a video, but we all made fun of it the whole time... the HR person was not happy. :D

We had an online program to go go through. It was supposed to take 45 minutes, but *someone* discovered that you had to choose every response anyway to get through a page. And there was no minimum time required on each page.
We got it down to 5 minutes from log in to printing out the completion certificate.

I actually read most of it before I figured out how to bypass it. It is a repeat of a repeat of a........ you get it.
And I am too busy to harass or be harassed. Love the flu/cold/pneumonia season.

After watching the movie "Disclosure", I had a meeting with most of the rowdy employees at my business and let them know that I would be compelled to treat any complaints fairly and promptly. Never did figure I would have to do anything else.
I am not going to take the chance of being on the wrong end of a lawsuit due to inaction on my part.

I know of a person in a gov agency that clicked on some NSFW email and it apparently did an automatic print on the community printer without him knowing about it. A lady saved it and filed charges. She's trying to hit the agency up for some money to help her 'cope' with the trauma of finding it.
