In other news, the 163 RBs at USC are still cheering.

I'm still not convinced USC will suck.

I assume Bush, Leinart and White all go top 10 in the next draft? Has any team done that before?

Why would White go top 10? I'd wait for the combines to put him up there. He's got a few other RBs to surpass.

I don't think White is necessarily being projected as 1st round material at all. Not sure why.

This makes me happy. :)

Then I start thinking about losing AD after next year and makes me unhappy. :(

Is there any way that AD would stay, barring injury, for 4th year?

I hope he doesn't....take your money and run.

Id take White ahead of either Bush or Leinart if I needed someone to contribute right away. If USC would have pulled off the RB win White would have been the MVP. The guy has been tough as nails all year.

White will be one of the first RB taken but I wouldn't necessarily expect him to go ahead of DeAngelo Williams or Maroney right now. Plus not every team near the top of the draft needs a RB as much as other positions. Could be late 1st round before White goes.

Owens, Zabel and Files(?) went in first round, 1969 I think in the top 20.

I think Bush, Leinart, and White will be selected in the top 10. I think White would have needed such assurances to keep from coming back to try and increase his stock value.

I can't see how White would be taken ahead of Maroney or Williams, and they're probably not top 10 either. Not many teams need RBs right now, really.

I tend to believe that Bush and White would not have been nearly as good had they been by themselves. Think about it. Have you seen Bush get consistent yardage up the middle? How about White on the outside? Hell, when's the last time you've even SEEN White run a toss sweep?

Yeah, and the next year we were 7-4-1 and got blown out by Texas.
