Maybe OU should have played Michigan.

I propose that we schedule Appalachian State instead. They're the defending 1-AA champions, and like their motto goes, they're "HOT, HOT, HOT." Would be a pretty good test for us out of the gate.

I still think we should schedule USC if they have an open spot, but I guess a mid major like Tulsa or Fresno will be ok too.

So, basically Vandy got tired of Middle Tennessee whipping their arses. Funny.

heh, that's what i was thinking at first too

i'm sure it's more about $$$ and national exposure though

it's not like they really have a shot at beating Michigan

i'd like to see us play a mid-major bowl team

Yes. Because in the BCS-NCAA, it looks better to have your arse whipped by Michigan than by Middle Tennessee.

Home and Home with Hawaii.

I have been saying that for years now.

i'm sure Michigan pays more to their visiting patsies than Middle Tennessee does, plus it's on TV

kinda like when we stole BGSU from Allbarn

I've always wondered why they used Middle instead of Central?

Sooner_Bob

I guess because in Tennessee Middle = Central?

Tradition I guess. The central section of Tennesse has always been referred to as "middle" Tennessee.

It's like Middle Earth.

I vote we play Prairie View A&M, the worst team on NCAA 06, and try to beat GT's 222-0 record, and it could be a special event on HBO documenting our quest for history.

It's like Middle Earth.

In that its full of gnomes and half-trolls? Or because it's a fictional place that they made a movie about and consequently made alot of money?
