Times have changed, I remember WKY as the top radio station in Oklahoma.

Now their Spanish? never say never I guess.

You can't leave your radio tuned to 930, and drive to Juarez and expect it to still be WKY.

I would rather learn spanish than accidentally tune to Mark Shannon ever again.

The only AM station in Oklahoma City that doesn't make me want to poke out my eardrums is 1400 KREF (Fox Sports affiliate). If WKY has gone espanol that can only be for the better.

The thing I listen to when I'm trying to go to sleep.

Most radio, regardless of locale, sucks.

I remember a road trip to Ames...one area in Missouri you could pick up 3 polka stations. I kid you not.

Nah, good old fashioned oom-pah stuff.

Radio stations, like lots of things, are all about coin. The Mexican radio stations are more profitable.

That's why the spy died. sniff.

Last night I was trying to listen to the Phil Hendrie Show via the innerweb. Since WKY doesn't have a web page with a "listen online" link, I usually go to okcblazers.com to tune in. There was a message on the site that said, "Do to an unexpected format change Stictly Hockey Blazers Style" will not be heard this week. We will resume on WKY next week."

Whatever that means.

I was a little surprised to get Mexican radio, but it did make me a little hungry for chips & salsa.

He makes more sense then Rodgers which is pretty easy but still
