That's great.....and pretty accurate. T. Boone is the devil and he will eventually own the aggies' sheep-loving souls before too long. Of course they weren't doing anything with them, anyway.

Those are hilarious!! I especially liked the ones about the law library and the 86 year old lady.

Who writes this strip?? Who publishes it?? Where can I find it?

I wonder how much if any of his $1.5b in total assets that boone sent to katrina or rita relief or something like that. It would be interesting to know if he has, because he sure as hell has sent $290 to agget athletics. This may just be rumor but has anyone else heard this story, I heard that pickens got his wealth or alot of it by swindeling others out of their money and muscling other companies into selling to him, does anyone know if there is any truth to this??

Most rich people didn't get there by being nice to the little guy. That's just a fact of life. You think the rich OU donors didn't stomp a few poor people on the way there? There are always exceptions, though.

Actually, there was a story a while back about T. Boone rescuing a bunch of pets from Katrina. It was pretty neat, considering the number of stories about people leaving their pets behind.

He's was in the "awl bidniss" in Texas for many years now and I don't know how you can do so for so long without at least having the appearance or reputation of being somewhat dishonest. Let's just say that he was known for playing hardball.

About 20 years ago, he launched a hostile takeover bid of Phillips Petroleum. If memory serves, Phillips' management staved off the bid by buying Pickens' stock at a considerable premium. To do so, management had to completely restructure the company's capitalization (both debt and equity positions). Part of this resulted in headcount reductions and sell off of subsidiary operations. There were a lot of Phillips' retirees and those about to retire that lost a lot because of that. Pickens was not a popular man in Bartlesville, OK.

Boone Pickens is a great example of what happens when ethics is not coupled with running a business. He's a predator, pure and simple. He and businessmen like him are big reasons why so many people are willing to give the federal government so much regulatory power....to protect us against people like Pickens. The problem is that the Feds use that power to hammer small businesses and they leave the rich fat cats alone because they can afford lobbyists and can afford to buy off politicians.

See what happens when it's No :texan: day?

It becomes :stunned: day instead.

Perhaps the drawing of Boone with horns could be a new smiley signifying the sheep-humpiness of Aggy.

The guy looks like death warmed over. Hey T. Boone! Satan is expecting what's left of your soul....don't keep him waiting.
