I figure this is a good NHT topic. Post a pic or name the recruit that you think will make the biggest impact in the 2005 class.

Biggest Impact Player for 2006

Curtis Bailey 6-7 340lb Offensive Lineman.

This kid could come in and contribute substantially next year, who do you think will make the biggest impact?

I would def. say it will be Bailey or Sherrone Moore, We need some O-linemen to step up next year

Can the kid breathe through his mouth?

Schmitty's going to have to adjust his philosophy for 340 lb linemen. It seems that his workouts for the OL are designed for 6'5" 220 lb projects.

Disagree. The guys who come in at 340 - and survive Schmitty - play on Sundays and make millions of $$. The ones who don't are at about 380 right now and trying to make some juco.

look at Brown for the Saints. That kid makes all the other OLinemen in the league look bad. Sure, he's still got to adjust a bit at that level, but he still runs to the ball even after his job is done. He runs downfield to block. He runs all the time. It makes me smile everytime he pancakes some poor safety whose last thought is "What the hell is THAT doing here?!"

We lost all of our recruits remember? Texas won the National Championship ;) I will be shocked if any team in D-1 other than Texas can actually field a full roster.

Some Sooners hate texas year 'round and other people hate them year 'round unless they happen to be playing southern cal. Thats about as resolved as this is going to get. Lets move on.

:edit: this was posted before I got an education on the meaning of NHT day. lesson learned.

Murray, Patterson, Moore and McCoy (if we get him). I also like what I saw with Tenell (probably spelled it wrong) in the Army game.
